Saint Thomas Apostle
July 3
Best known for his initial unwillingness to believe the other apostles in their claim that Jesus had risen from the dead, St. Thomas can teach the faithful about believing without seeing.
St. Thomas is traditionally believed to have preached the Good News to the Persians and Medes, until he reached India, where he evangelised and was eventually martyred in 72 A.D. He is the patron of architects and builders.

Farewell Potluck
July 6
On July 6 after the 11:30 am mass, we will have a despedida (farewell) potluck lunch for Delia and Rudy Panelo. They are long time parishioners who will be moving to the East Coast to be with family. Rudy and Delia have been parishioners of Saint Mark since 1983 and were involved in various service and liturgical ministries. Rudy also assisted at our daily masses as altar server for many years and Delia served as pianist at our Sunday Masses. All are invited!

Birthdays at Communal Supper
On Saturdays, after the 4:30 pm mass at the Parish Center, we gather for Communal Supper - a time for fellowship and shared meals.
And every month, we celebrate birthdays too! Join us at the July 12 Communal Supper potluck as we honor our July birthday celebrants.
Career and Education Planning with Steve Morehouse
July 26
On July 26, at 10:00 am, Steve Morehouse will be administering a Career and Educational Planning Inventory for high school students and other interested adults (ideally for ages 15 years or older). This assessment tool (with same day results) will help everyone explore interests and career fields, while discovering how these two key elements connect with college majors, degrees, and various segments of higher education.
Steve worked 35 years at College of San Mateo, the bulk of those years as the Dean of Counseling, Advising and Matriculation, and as an Outreach Counselor to Bay Area high schools where he administrated the inventory to thousands of high school students. In addition to providing a variety of counseling services, he has also taught classes in Psychology and Career and Life Planning, including Career Exploration. A parishioner at Saint Mark, Steve has a masters degree in Counseling and bachelors degree in Psychology.

Legion of Mary Auxiliary & Recruiting Event
July 13
Saint Mark’s Legion of Mary places evangelizing as its primary mission, actively working to spread the gospel through various apostolic works. Our focus is on reaching out to individuals, families, and communities, with the goal of helping souls find a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and the church.
On July 13, Sunday, 1:00 pm at the Saint Mark Parish Center, we are holding the Legion of Mary's Auxiliary & Recruiting Event. All active and auxiliary members are asked to attend.

Knights of Columbus Fundraising Casino Trip
July 26
Invite your friends and family to join us at our KoC Fundraiser. We have secured a bus to Cache Creek Casino with MGQ Tours. The pick up and drop off will be at St. Mark parking lot. The departure time is 9:00 am and the return time is 6:00 pm. Cost: $40.00.
We will have a sign up sheet in the back of the church. Sign up and reserve your space early!

Invitation to Women’s Catholic Scripture Study
The Women’s Catholic Scripture Study invites you to join us for the 2025-2026 study, Sing a New Psalm: Communicating with God Through the Prayers of the Church, Vol. II: Vigils, Day Prayer & Compline. In honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the Blessed Carlo Acutis Young Adult Ministry invites all parishes to participate in the Brown Scapular Investiture. This special ceremony offers the faithful an opportunity to be enrolled in the Brown Scapular devotion—a powerful sign of Our Lady’s protection and a call to live a life of grace.
