The Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord
August 6
Tradition names Mount Tabor as the site of the Transfiguration. A church first raised there in the fourth century was dedicated on August 6. A feast in honor of the Transfiguration was celebrated in the Eastern Church from about that time. Western observance began in some localities about the eighth century.

Faith Formation Class Registration
Registration is now open and we welcome kids and teens from Grades 1-12 to enroll in our CCD Faith Formation and Youth Confirmation classes. Our religious education programs are geared towards helping our kids have a greater appreciation and love for our Catholic faith as well as to prepare them to receive our most Holy Sacraments.

This year we are proud to recognize Sheila Doyle Kiernan and The Alice Phelan Sullivan Corporation with the Brennan Award, and Capital Group with the Corporate Service Award for their extraordinary commitment to service and social justice.
We hope you will join us for an inspiring evening that benefits those whom we serve, the homeless and survivors of domestic violence. All proceeds will be used to provide food, shelter, housing, clothing, and supportive services to the thousands of men, women, and children we help through our programs.
