Saint Leo
November 10
November 10 is the Roman Catholic Church’s liturgical memorial of the fifth-century Pope Saint Leo I, known as “St. Leo the Great,” whose involvement in the fourth ecumenical council helped prevent the spread of error on Christ's divine and human natures.
Leo’s teaching confirmed that Christ’s eternal divine personhood and nature did not absorb or negate the human nature that he assumed in time through the Incarnation. Instead, “the proper character of both natures was maintained and came together in a single person.”

Saint Martin of Tours
November 11
On November 11, the Catholic Church honors Saint Martin of Tours, who left his post in the Roman army to become a “soldier of Christ” as a monk and later bishop.
Pope Benedict XVI expressed his hope “that all Christians may be like St Martin, generous witnesses of the Gospel of love and tireless builders of jointly responsible sharing.”

Volunteer for the Youth Christmas Pageant
Preparation is ongoing for the Saint Mark Christmas Pageant on December 24, 2025 during the 4: 30 pm Mass. We need volunteers for the following roles: Joseph, Mary, Angels, Shepherds and Three Kings.

Thanksgiving Mass
Let us give thanks! We will have a Thanksgiving Mass on November 27, Thursday at 10:00 am in church.
If you wish to have your bread, wine, turkey and cranberry sauce to be blessed, you may bring them for the blessing after the Thanksgiving Mass.
Appeal for More Eucharistic Ministers
The Extraordinary Ministry of the Eucharist was formed to assist the celebrant, other priests, and deacons with the distribution of Holy Communion during weekday and Sunday masses. Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist also assist in bringing the Eucharist to those confined to their homes and nursing/group homes in the area.

All Saints Family Party
November 8
This Saturday, November 8, all are invited to the All Saints Family Party at the Saint Mark Parish Center.
Doors open at 6:00 pm. Prepare for an evening of great food, family fun & games and music. Dress up as your favorite Saint, we will have a costume contest for Kids and Adults.
Tickets are at $40 for adults and $15 for youth. Children 7 and Under are Free!

COR Activity this Weekend

Every man in Saint Mark parish should join Cor. Where else can you form your spiritual development, pray, and enjoy the fraternity of men like you?
We meet on Sundays after the 11:30 Mass in the parish center. This week, November 9, we have an added attraction. Bring an appetizer to share. Enjoy the offerings other men will bring. We have a short video on evangelization. What does evangelization mean? How can each of us spread the Good News of the Resurrection through our communities and the whole world? At Cor, we will examine these and other questions and become better Christians. Join us!

The Faith Formation team is excited to invite you to participate in our annual Faith Formation Conference: November 7 is for Youth Leaders and November 8 is for everyone. The keynote speaker is Father Agustino Torres, CFR. Our theme is “Hope Does Not Disappoint” “La Esperanza No Desilusiona” Presentations will be in English and Spanish.
