We implore you, inspire in our hearts a fervent love for the recitation of the Rosary. By meditating on the mysteries of the redemption that are recalled therein may we obtain the graces and virtues that we ask, through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENT
The Catholic Church dedicates the entire month of May to the Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of God and spiritual mother of all.
We invite everyone to join in praying the rosary from Monday to Friday after the 8:30am mass in the chapel and at 6:30pm at Our Lady of Lourdes grotto or the chapel (depending on the weather).
On Sunday, we will have the Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary after the 9:45am mass.

Marian Event at Saint Mark
May 16Gather around the grotto for an "Evening with the Blessed Virgin Mary" on May 16 at 6:45 pm as we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima (May 13). The Knights of Columbus will be leading the prayers.
Before the event begins, we will have the Fellowship dinner at the Saint Mark Parish Center.
Birthdays at Communal Supper
May 16On May 16, Saturday, we will celebrate our May birthday celebrants during Communal Supper, following the 4:30 pm Mass. All are welcome!
Second Collection - Catholic Charities
This coming Sunday, we will have a collection to support Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
Last year, Catholic Charities served over 56,000 individuals through 37 programs in Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties. Specifically, Catholic Charities helped 8,320 individuals access safe and stable housing. Click here to learn more.

MINISTRY UPDATE
Excell Network Breakfast
May 16The breakfast returns to Saint Mark Parish Center on May 16, 8:00 - 9:00 am. Listen to inspirational talks featuring students who are on the SF Archdiocese Restorative Justice Ministry's reentry scholarship program.
Social Justice volunteers will be seling Excell Network Breakfast tickets and hands of God cards after the Sunday Masses this weekend of May 9 & 10.
Aerobic Exercise and Body Movement to Music
May 24On May 24, from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Saint Mark Parish Center, experience a fun 90 minutes of warmup stretching, active moving to music, and cool down. Along the way speaker Cathleen Morehouse, will explain the importance of flexibility and stretching, moderate cardiovascular exercise, muscle strengthening, injury prevention, taking heart rates, hydration, and offer additional tips for increasing longevity. Bring comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, and a good spirit.
COR Update

On Monday, March 10, at 7:00 pm, the men of Saint Mark will gather as Cor, to examine the weight of every word in this vital petition. If you’ve ever felt like your prayer life is on "autopilot," this session is for you. We will:
- Investigate the "New Word": Explore Epiousion and why Jesus may have invented it just for this prayer.
- Consult the Catechism: See what the Church teaches about God’s supernatural provision.
- Watch & Discuss: View a short breakdown of how "daily" changed the way we see our faith.

Message from the Knight's Table
The Saint Mark Knights of Columbus wish to thank our Parishioners and Friends who joined us for the Cinco De Mayo Dinner on the 2nd for food, fun and friendship with games, trivia, dancing and flavorful Mexican food.
There were more than 70 attendees
allowing us to raise over $1000 for The St Joseph Table charity.
Please plan to join us for a Pancake Breakfast on July 5th after the Sunday 8:00 and 9:30 Masses. Also, look for our annual casino trip this summer!
