Saint Barnabas
June 11St. Barnabas was a Levite Jew from the island of Cyprus. He is traditionally believed to have been one of Christ’s 72 disciples, and lived among the Apostles as a successful preacher in the early Church. Luke describes him in the Acts of the Apostles as “a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith” (Acts 11:24).

Saint Anthony of Padua
June 13St. Anthony is one of the most beloved saints in the Catholic Church. Born in 1195 in Lisbon, Portugal, Anthony is renowned for his eloquence and insight as a preacher, his devotion to the poor, and his reputation as the patron saint of lost items.
Why Is St. Anthony Invoked for Finding Lost Items? He became associated with lost articles because he himself is said to have lost, and regained, a book of Psalms in which he had made notes to use in his teaching.
According to this widely accepted story, the book was taken by a novice who had decided to leave the Franciscan community in which Anthony taught. Anthony prayed that the Psalter would turn up, and it did — along with the errant novice, who returned to the Franciscan fold.

Faith Formation Program Registration Opens!
St. Mark's Faith Formation has opened Registration for the Faith Formation Program for 2026-2027. Registration Forms can be found on our Parish Website or in the Front of the Church for physical application. All registration will be physical forms.
To register your child: please complete the Registration Form and Faith Formation Handbook in their entirety, and submit both documents and Tuition to the Front Office. Written Checks should be written out to St. Mark's Faith Formation Program.
Registration for the Faith Formation Program will stay open from June 14, 2026 to September 20, 2026. All registration after September 20, 2026 will be considered Late.

Call for Catechists
St. Mark's Faith Formation needs Catechist Aides to assist for 2026-2027. If you enjoy telling stories and can facilitate activities, you have all the tools to help be a Catechist. Our Director of Religious Education will provide information and training to help volunteers lead a fruitful classroom. Expectations are listed below:
- Weekly Commitment to the 9:45 am Sunday Mass
- Help facilitate a one-hour classroom session with the Catechist on Sundays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Manage Students engagement and retention of material
- Maintain communication with all catechists

31st Annual Twilight Windows Tour: Features American-born Saints

This year, trained docents will incorporate into the tour the holy lives of American saints such St. Augustus Tolton, St. Katherine Drexel, St. Elizabeth Seton, St. Kateri Tekawitha and more.
