SY 2026-2027 Faith Formation Program: Register Today!
Saint Mark's Faith Formation is open for Registration for SY 2026-2027. Our religious education programs are geared towards helping our kids have a greater appreciation and love for our Catholic faith as well as to prepare them to receive our most Holy Sacraments.
Register today to reserve your child's space in class. Registration Forms for both CCD and Confirmation programs can be found on our Parish Website saintmarkbelmont.com or in the front of the Church for physical application.
To register your child, please complete the Registration Form and Faith Formation Handbook in their entirety, and submit both documents and Tuition to the parish office. Written Checks should be written out to St. Mark's Faith Formation Program or you can make an online payment.

Final Summer Meeting
August 5Ladies of the Parish ... our final drop-in session for the 2026 summer season is Wednesday, August 5th. We meet from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the parish center. The sessions have been enjoyed by all who have attended. It has been a chance to share thoughts, discuss ideas and just enjoy the company of both Ladies Guild and parish members.
Stop by, bring your lunch and if so inclined, a treat to share with the group. We hope to see you there!
Knights Table
Blood Drive on August 9. We are looking forward to our hosting our first blood drive next week on Sunday the 9th from 9:00 am -1:00 pm. Flyers are available at the back of the church and Walk-ins are welcome.
You may schedule your appointment on-line at www.vitalant.org. Please select the Knights of Columbus Blood Drive and use Blood Drive Code: GiveLove-2372-J to receive a $15 gift card. As an added benefit, donors will receive a voucher which will entitle them to two tickets to a future Giants home game. Casino Trip to Cache Creek on August 22.
Saturday, August 22nd will be the date for the Annual Casino Excursion (“ACE”) to Cache Creek. This is a fund-raiser to support the ministry's activities. Pick up and drop off will be at Saint Mark parking lot with schedule of Departure at 8:30 am and Return at 6:00 pm. The cost is $50.00. Pre-payment is required.

COR Update
On Monday, August 3rd, Cor will meet in the parish center at 7:00 pm. Our topic for this session will be Virtue. The catechism says a lot on virtue beginning at paragraph 1803 and that is a good opening point for our conversation.
Thanks to Deacon Rich and Michael Craig for moderating Cor while I was away on a vacation. They led conversations on the Liturgy of the Hours and Medjugorje and the apparitions of Mary. Come, join us! We always have some fun and no one will bite. - Tom Miller

OBITUARY
DOMINGO RUBIO
June 16, 1947 - July 28, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Domingo Rubio. He is known to us as "Steve", which is a nickname he gave himself in grade school.
Steve and his wife Martha have been long time parishioners of Saint Mark. Steve was a charter member of the St Mark Knights of Columbus Council #13225 and served as a Grand Knight in the past.
Steve designed the beautiful Grotto plaza of Our Lady of Lourdes at Saint Mark.
Funeral service will be at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville, Texas on August 3 at 10:00 am. Let us keep Steve and his family in our prayers.
